One of the biggest problems, I’ve been hearing in January is lack of Motivation.
Many people are tired of going it alone and are looking for different ways to get and stay in shape. The treadmill is boring, the weights don’t talk back that leg press is so boring.
The idea of a group environment is very appealing compared to any type of solo training, one of the first things that happen in a group is that you make friends. So, you all work together as a team to reach individual goals. Like a machine with all the different parts working together. So, when a part doesn’t turn up, the other parts notice the absence.
Often your new friends will message you, “hey where were you in training last night?” We missed you, “when you back”
This is social accountability!
It’s a long way from not showing up to run on the treadmill, that thing doesn’t care, whether you’re there or sitting at home watching T.V and eating bad.
